How it
all started...
If we were face-to-face right now—tea in hand, sneakers on, and energy in the air—you’d feel it immediately: I don’t do surface-level. I am Coach L.A., but my full name is Lauren Wilson—and there’s a story behind why I lead with both.
The name Coach L.A. wasn’t born in branding meetings or a social media brainstorm. It was born out of protection. Years ago, after dealing with a stalker situation, I began using the initials “L.A.” to shield my identity.
But what started as a boundary became a brand. A name that carried strength, intention, and truth. It stuck—and today it reflects not just who I am, but how I show up: with clarity, conviction, and soul.
So yes, I’m Lauren—the woman.
And I’m Coach L.A.—the voice, the strategist, the one who sees the version of you you’ve been too tired to access.
I’m also the woman who knows what it’s like to outgrow the life everyone else clapped for. I’ve smiled through pressure, achieved through burnout, and held it all together while silently wondering, “Is this it?”
That’s why I don’t just coach—I create space for women to release the weight of who they had to be and step into who they were always meant to become. Every time I step on a stage, lead a coaching session, or hold space in a room, I bring that same unwavering mission: to help women RISE with clarity, own their truth without apology, and finally feel seen—first by themselves, then by the world.
From The Fashion Industry to Coaching Women at The Top
Before I ever stepped into a coaching, I was making my mark in the fast-paced world of fashion and talent development—scouting and coaching elite talent, managing high-stakes contracts, and building bicoastal teams. I was on stages across the country, interviewing hundreds of people from all backgrounds and helping them tap into their truth—in five minutes or less.
By 27, I had hit six figures.
By 30, I had built teams that still lead with the framework I created.
And I had helped dozens of young leaders launch dreams that once felt impossible.
But behind the glamor, I saw a pattern: high-performing women drowning in burnout, unsure how to slow down without losing everything they built.
So, I made a shift of my own.

I’m a wife to an amazing husband who sees me and encourages me to walk fully in my purpose. I’m a present, loving mom to a beautiful son who reminds me daily why this work matters. I’m a faith-filled woman who honors rest, lifts heavy in the gym, and lives out what I coach.

God is my anchor, my source, and the reason I lead with intention instead of ego. My relationship with Him fuels every decision I make, and my coaching isn’t just about results—it’s about alignment with purpose.
I’m also fiercely committed to my community. Whether I’m mentoring young women, leading workshops, or holding space for hard conversations, I show up with truth, compassion, and clarity.
And no, I don’t have it all figured out—and I’m okay with that. I’m not perfect. I’m present. I’m aligned. I lead with grace, and I coach with conviction.
